CMI Strategic Management and Leadership at Level 7 is ideal for senior managers who want to focus on the requirements of embedding an organisation’s strategy.
This qualification is specifically designed to develop skills, knowledge and behaviours needed to drive core business activities, deliver impact and behave ethically.
The primary role of a practising strategic leader is to lead and manage the organisation to deliver aims and objectives in line with the overall organisational strategy.
Who should attend:
The learning is designed for practising strategic leaders. Roles and responsibilities may also include but are not limited to taking responsibility for people, projects, operations and/or services to deliver long term organisational success. They will have the professionalism to deliver impact, behave ethically and demonstrate a commitment to continual learning and development.
Assessment: The learning is completed remotely with self-study, supported by an approved CMI assessor. You will complete assignments which are assessed by the assessor; feedback is given via an e-portfolio system called ‘Quals Direct’ and the assessor will guide you to complete the assignment. There are no examinations. Individuals will also receive affiliate membership of the Chartered Management Institute whilst studying, giving access to the Institutes online learning resources.
Certification: Certification is awarded through Chartered Management Institute (CMI). All courses have progression opportunities within the framework of Management and Leadership.

Diploma: Up to eight units which equals 37 credits. This will give you a fully comprehensive bank of skills and knowledge required to be a leader as part of an organisation as well to apply your learning in the context of another organisation or industry sector.
