Employment Broker (25 hours per week) - Vacancy

We are looking to recruit a part-time employment broker based at our Scunthorpe site who will report to the Business Development Manager.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing employer vacancies and managing the application process for prospective apprentices.  There will be a degree of targeted cold calling and attendance at network events in order to promote NLT’s training programmes. 

The role will also include:-

  • Engaging with learners including carrying out interviews, initial assessment and job matching for potential employer vacancies.
  • Advertising all employer vacancies in the appropriate manner and liaising with employers regarding applications and selection process.
  • Updating client database.
  • Supporting the business development team at careers functions.

Whilst previous experience in a similar role is essential, it is also important that candidates can demonstrate the ability to liaise at all levels.  They must be personable, persuasive and administratively competent. 

Salary is £15,000 pro rata with a company contributory pension scheme.

Electrical Training Officer - Vacancy

We are looking to recruit an Electrical Training Officer with an industry background to deliver both government funded training and commercial training.

The successful applicant must hold a Level 3 qualification in an electrical discipline.  It would be desirable for applicants to have worked within a ESFA funded training environment and have experience of training and dealing with young people, however this is not essential.

Additional experience within mechanical engineering would be a distinct advantage.

It is important that all applicants have strong industry background with the passion to pass on their experience and knowledge to the engineers of tomorrow!

The primary role will involve workshop and classroom delivery in electrical maintenance and electrical installation.

An ability to carry out training and assessment within our employer sites is also a key part to this role and therefore A1 Assessor qualification (or equivalent) is essential.  The successful candidate will also be required to hold either their CTLLS/DTLLS qualification (or equivalent) or be willing to work towards this qualification.

Salary will be discussed at interview, however the package will include 25 days holiday plus statutory entitlements, company contributory pension scheme and a 35 hour working week.
