Health and Safety Level 2
Description
This course will give your staff the confidence to handle any health and safety issues brought to their attention. Understanding the full remit of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and the laws they work hard to maintain is important to all employees along with their roles and responsibilities. It can be delivered to groups in your company or as an open course in one of our training centres and is very ‘hands on’. The course duration is 1 day.
Who should attend: This course would suit any member of staff who is working with others, either colleagues or customers.
Assessment: Assessment and testing is made throughout the teaching day.
Certification: This level 2 course is accredited by Qualsafe.
This one-day course covers the following modules:
- Understanding of the Health and Safety Executive (HSE) and their role with health and safety
- The employers and employees’ responsibilities in regard to health and safety
- The Health and Safety at Work Act
- Risk Assessment of the workplace
- Slips, Trips and falls
- Procedures for responding to accidents and incidents
- Smoking, alcohol and drugs within the workplace
- Stress
