Emergency First Aid at Work Level 3
Description
This course covers the roles and responsibilities of the emergency first aider in helping to understand and assess the nature of the emergency and make a judgement on what to do next. It can be delivered to groups in your company or as an open course in one of our training centres and is very ‘hands on’. The course duration is 1 day.
Who should attend: This course would suit any member of staff who is working with others, either colleagues or customers.
Assessment: Assessment is made on the day of the training with the course tutor.
Certification: This level 3 course is accredited by Qualsafe.
This one-day course covers the following modules:
- Understanding the roles and responsibilities of the First Aider
- Understanding of how to deal with minor injuries
- Enable assessment of the incident and what action to take
- How to put someone in the recovery position
- How to give CPR to someone who needs it
- Safe use of an Automated External Defibrillator (AED)
