Fire Safety Award Level 2
Description
This course will cover the duties and responsibilities of the employer and the employee regarding fire safety. The role and responsibilities of the nominated fire warden and how they can make a difference to the work place should they be involved in a fire. It can be delivered to groups in your company or as an open course in one of our training centres and is very ‘hands on’. The course duration is 1 day.
Who should attend: This course will suit those who have a responsibility for being the nominated fire warden.
Assessment: Assessment and testing is made throughout the teaching day.
Certification: This level 2 course is accredited by Qualsafe.
This one-day course covers the following modules:
- Roles and responsibilities of the nominated fire warden
- Causes of fire in the workplace
- The fire triangle
- Hazards during and after the fire
- Fire safety laws
- The responsibility of the employer and the employee
- Undertaking a fire safety inspection
