The one-day CCNSG National Safety Passport Renewal course is a refresher course that builds on the 
areas covered during the two-day CCNSG National Safety Passport course.
The course provides an update on the Health & Safety legislation and work practices that may have changed or been introduced since the delegates’ initial course or since their last renewal course.
Taking this course enables the delegates’ current passport to be renewed for a further three years.
Delegates MUST renew their card BEFORE the card expires. The Safety Passport can be renewed up to 6 months prior to the expiry date.
If the card has expired, Passport holders will be required to take the full two-day CCNSG National Safety Passport course.
Keeping CCNSG Safety Passports up-to-date ensures that Health and Safety training requirements for many engineering construction sites has been met.
Our CCNSG courses are regulated by the ECITB.
PLEASE NOTE: The cost of this course includes £5 to cover the cost of refreshments throughout the day.
Who Should Attend:
The course is for employees, contractors and self-employed tradespeople who already hold their CCNSG National Safety Passport. Delegates will need to have a current and valid CCNSG National Safety Passport that is within three months of its expiry date.

Assessment:
Assessment is by individual multiple choice tests at the end of each section covered. The pass mark is 80%.
Certification:
Following successful assessment, delegates will be issued with a temporary passport, valid for six weeks. A new safety passport will be issued within approximately three weeks.
The one-day CCNSG Safety Passport Renewal course includes a brief overview of what was covered in the two day CCNSG National Safety Passport course, specifically:
- An overview of the 10 sections covered in the CCNSG National Safety Passport course
- An update on legislation and work practices
- Hazard spotting and job safety analysis
Following the one-day CCNSG Safety Passport Renewal course, delegates will:
- Have an understanding of their legal rights and responsibilities in regards to Health and Safety.
- Be aware of the importance of safe and good behaviour at work.
- Have an awareness of safe site systems, including confined space entry and permits to work
- Have an understanding of solutions at work
- Have an updated CCNSG National Safety Passport valid for a further three years.
