
Fork Lift Truck Training
Description
Employees who drive fork lift trucks within the workplace must be trained appropriately to do so. Reach and/or counterbalance training can be provided both on site at the company or at an approved training centre locally. This course can be delivered at the company’s premises using your own equipment or at a nominated training centre. The course duration is between 1 and 6 days depending on what level of training is needed.
Who should attend: Anyone who is expected to drive a fork lift truck within the workplace or out on the highway as part of their normal working duties.
Assessment: Assessment and testing occurs throughout the week of training and delivery.
Certification: All training is certified to national standards. A number of awarding organisations are used for accreditation.
This course covers the following modules:
- Training in Reach and/or counterbalance fork lift trucks
- Safe working and handling of the equipment
- All aspects of use
- Rules and regulations in using the fork lift truck
Day starts: 08:30
Lunch: 12:00 (tea, coffee and cold buffet to be provided by NLT)
Day ends: 16:00
