Working at Heights
Description
Those workplaces that have working at heights as part of their remit must ensure that their employees are fully trained to do so. Falling from heights is one of the biggest single killers of individuals within the work place. Regulations of working at heights were introduced in April 2005. It can be delivered to groups in your company and is very ‘hands on’. The course duration is half a day.
Who should attend: This course will suit anyone who is expected to perform duties at height within the workplace.
Assessment: Ongoing assessment of competency will be throughout the training day.
Certification: This course is non-accredited, but an attendance certificate will be issued.
This course covers the following modules:
- Full understanding of the working at heights regulations 2005
- Employers and employees’ responsibilities around working at heights
- How to operate safely when working at heights
Start and finish times to be agreed with the company.
