Description
The CCNSG National Safety Passport ‘Test only Renewal’ course is now on offer as a one-hour refresher course that builds on the areas covered during the two-day CCNSG National Safety Passport course. Traditionally this has always been delivered with a tutorial for a full day but now you can renew by coming into one of our centres and completing a test only which will take approximately one hour.
You will undertake the test on-line in one of our centres supported by one of our invigilators.
The test only offers a selection of Health & Safety and work practices multi choice questions and answers. This will allow you to come in and sit the test and get an instant answer of whether or not you have passed it.
Taking this course enables the delegates’ current passport to be renewed for a further three years.
Delegates MUST renew their card BEFORE the card expires. The Safety Passport can be renewed up to 3 months prior to the expiry date.
If the card has expired, Passport holders will be required to take the full two-day CCNSG National Safety Passport course.
Keeping CCNSG Safety Passports up to date ensures that Health and Safety training requirements for many engineering constructions sites has been met.
Our CCNSG courses are regulated by the ECITB.
Who Should Attend:
The course is for employees, contractors and self-employed tradespeople who already hold their CCNSG National Safety Passport. Delegates will need to have a current and valid CCNSG National Safety Passport that is within three months of its expiry date.

Assessment:
Assessment is by individual multiple-choice on-line tests. The pass mark is 80%.
Certification:
Following successful assessment, delegates will be issued with a temporary passport, valid for six weeks. A new safety passport will be issued within approximately three weeks.
The ‘test only renewal’ CCNSG Safety Passport is for those who are continually working in the industry and updating their Health and Safety knowledge within their company as part of your normal day activities. Simply attend one of our centres and sit the test only to renew your safety passport.
To be able to complete the test only you must ensure you have updated yourself in the following areas:
- Understanding of your legal rights and responsibilities in regards to Health and Safety.
- Awareness of the importance of safe and good behaviour at work.
- Awareness of safe site systems, including confined space entry and permits to work.
- Understanding of solutions at work.
As a result of taking the test only you will receive an updated CCNSG National Safety Passport valid for a further three years.
