Peter Aderoju joins NLT

Experienced business analytics and management specialist Peter Aderoju has joined NLT Training Services in a newly created role as Sales and Marketing Executive. The creation of the role and Peter’s appointment reflect the training specialist’s on-going expansion plans. 

His permanent appointment follows a successful 12-week internship through the University of Derby which saw Peter implement a new CRM system which will drive NLT’s growth in 2025. Peter’s appointment heralds a new chapter in NLT’s history which spans nearly 60 years. 

Commenting on his appointment, Peter said: “I am delighted to join NLT. I have very much enjoyed the time I have already spent with the team as part of the internship. Securing the permanent role is an excellent opportunity for us to continue to work together towards a shared vision of business growth.” 

As well as being a data expert, Peter holds both a degree in Engineering and an MBA. In his new role, he will work across both NLT’s Chesterfield and Scunthorpe training sites, managing the training requirements of companies throughout South Yorkshire, Humberside and the East Midlands.  

A key focus within his role will be marketing NLT’s CMI-accredited Leadership and Management courses alongside the business’ longstanding portfolio of Health and Safety courses, including CCNSG, MPQC/SPA, and CSCS, as well as its bespoke training and eLearning offering. 

He added: “NLT is now in a strong position to dynamically market its growing range of courses to new and existing clients. I am focused on fulfilling the training needs of clients and identifying gaps within their current provision to ensure they also achieve growth. Data and analytics are my passion and at the heart of this next phase of NLT’s development.”  

Welcoming Peter, Sarah Temperton, Chief Executive of NLT Training Services, said: “This is a hugely exciting time in NLT’s history. The creation of this dedicated Sales and Marketing role and appointment of Peter marks a key stage in our business transformation programme.” 

Outside work, Peter who is a keen sportsman and musician enjoys football and swimming and also plays the piano, violin and viola.
