NLT’s very own Emily Marriott has recently become a qualified assessor/coach after passing her Level 4 Assessor/Coach Apprenticeship with distinction.

Emily joined the business in 2021 to support course delivery at NLT and develop her career. She will continue to work across NLT’s Scunthorpe and Chesterfield centres supporting people with their training needs.

Delighted to gain her qualification, Emily said: “It took a long time, but it was worth it in the end. The pandemic made it really challenging, particularly as I was coaching someone who worked in the hospitality industry as part of the qualification, but we got there.”

Completing her Level 4 apprenticeship gives Emily the opportunity to coach and assess vocational learners in a range of learning environments.

In addition to her assessor role, Emily is also managing NLT’s new range of eLearning courses, supporting and advising people with bookings, providing information and responding to queries.

The 90 easy-to-access eLearning courses were introduced to NLT’s course line up in June earlier this year and cost from just £10 each and can be translated into 35 different languages. The courses are also accessible for people who are blind, visually impaired, illiterate or have a learning disability.
