A recent independent employer satisfaction survey, conducted on behalf of the Skills Funding Agency (SFA), has revealed that NLT Training Services has scored highly across all performance areas, scoring an average of 84.5 per cent.
The findings are in line with SFA research last year which found that private training providers are significantly more popular with employers than general FE colleges.
As an average, training providers scored a massive 83.9 per cent for employer satisfaction according to the results of the SFA employer satisfaction survey, while colleges’ rating was nearly ten per cent lower at 74.9 per cent.
The survey represented the views of more than 60,000 employers between March and July 2016, and was based on training in 2015/16.
The Chesterfield and Scunthorpe based training services provider, delivers Apprenticeship training in engineering and business related disciplines. Relevancy of courses and locality were also cited as key reasons by employers for choosing NLT to deliver its Apprenticeship training.
Commenting on the survey results Cathie Mitchell, Head of Operations at NLT Training Services, said: “We are delighted that employers feel we are delivering the right training to their Apprentices and delivering it well.
“We strongly believe that our pre-apprenticeship Evolve programme plays a strong role in employer satisfaction as it gets young people work ready and gives them basic engineering skills which are immediately useful to an employer.
“Although NLT has scored above average compared to the national results, we shall not be resting on our laurels. We are committed to supportin all our Apprentice learners so that they can deliver value to an organisation’s bottom line as soon as possible.”
