Apprenticeship Grant for Employers of 16 – 24 year olds

This scheme is aimed at providing eligible employers with a wage grant to assist them in recruiting their first apprentices.

The National Apprenticeship Service (NAS) provide the grants of £1500 to a range of small and medium sized businesses recruiting 16 to 24 year old apprentices.

Local Authority Top Up Grants

In response to business needs, some local authorities are also providing funding to top up these grants ranging from £1500 to £6000.

Skills Funding Agency (SFA) Funding

The SFA are the organisation appointed by the government to oversee the funding for Training & Education.  NLT is contracted to the SFA, and have access to funding for training subject to eligibility criteria.
