Looking for bespoke specialist welding training or getting tested (coded)?
NLT offers various training packages for weld codings working to your company’s weld procedures using Manual Metal Arc (MMA), Tungsten Inert Gas (TIG) and Metal Inert/Active Gas (MIG/MAG) welding techniques.
Even if you do not have any weld procedures in place, NLT can help with this. NLT works closely with Solus Testing based in Chesterfield, who can write your weld procedures while you are undertaking your training with us.
Following an initial one-hour assessment we would identify your coding requirements and also the welder’s own capabilities.
Initial assessments can either take place at NLT or at your own premises.
After the initial assessment, we would work together to develop a bespoke training package that would suit your weld requirements and ensure you are up-to-date with correct weld qualifications. The assessment would also determine which joint type, weld position and materials are needed to complete your weld procedure.
After the weld coding training is complete, all weld pieces will be tested by Solus Testing and undergo either non-destructive testing (NDT) or destructive testing (DT). Welder Approval Test Certification will be issued after successful testing is complete.
Who Should Attend:
This course is suitable for businesses which require employees to have specialist, bespoke welding train or coding.
Before the course, NLT Training Services will carry out an initial skills assessment to determine training requirements of individuals. Following assessment and training, NLT’s experienced welding instructors are also accredited welding surveyors (Zurich Insurance) and are able to witness all coded weld tests; saving you time and money, as there is no need to pre-book a surveyor; you test when you are ready.
No formal certification will be received.
Between one and five days, dependent on existing skills following an assessment.
