The Basic MMA (Manual Metal Arc) Welding Course is designed to enable individuals to complete the welding of joints in simple position; welding skills that are typically found in the industry.
The course introduces Manual Metal Arc welding techniques to delegates as well as how to set-up equipment for the process. The course is useful for engineering professionals who need to know how to use MMA welding for their job, or wish to expand into this area.
Designed and delivered by NLT Training Services, the course lasts three to five days, depending on the skill level of delegates and their current knowledge in the area of MMA welding.
Course content is based on the practical aspects of welding, but covers all relevant aspects of health and safety. The basic knowledge and skill gained will allow course members to use the equipment and produce welds in the flat position.
