This apprenticeship focuses on providing you with the basic skills and mechanical and electrical knowledge you need to start a career in engineering.
You will learn how to provide day-to-day support for manufacturing or other engineering processes and could become involved with systems such as quality control or testing.
Working in technical support you will be performing technical support activities in an engineering and manufacturing environment.
You’ll serve as an expert in the products that your company manufactures and develops, and will find solutions to problems. This could involve designing, developing and implementing a technical solution from scratch.
