Course Objectives
To guide participants through the requirements of the Electricity at Work Regulations (1989) with
respect to portable appliance examination testing

• The qualified or practising electrician OR those persons with a sound knowledge of electrical equipment and planned maintenance scheme
• Trainee electricians at NVQ Level 2

• Methods of compliance with these requirements
• A study of equipment types and availability
