Course Objectives
• To enable participants to achieve work based competences in manufacturing activities
• To assist participants gain a nationally recognised qualification
• To improve the skills level of an Employer’s Workforce

Course Content
After induction to the programme candidates will be required to provide evidence of competence, plus an understanding of
underpinning knowledge for the following NVQ units

Mandatory Units
PMO2/001 Complying with Statutory Regulations and Organisational Safety Requirements

Group A Units - one unit must be completed
PMO2/002 Promoting Effective Working Relationships
PMO2/021 Contributing to Effective Team Working

Supporting the Operation Group - three units must be completed
PMO2/003 Transferring materials.
PMO2/004 Preparing for manufacturing operations.
PMO2/005 Concluding manufacturing operations
Or
PMO2/006 Ensuring effective handover of manufacturing operations.
PMO2/007 Receiving and checking incoming materials.
PMO2/018 Controlling manufacturing operations.
PMO2/019 Contributing to improving effectiveness in the workplace.
PMO2/020 Analysing the results of inspection and confirming quality of products.
PMO2/023 Recording and reporting inspection and test results.
