Course Objectives
• To understand the need for Managing Fire Risks
• Identify legal requirements with regard to Managing Health and Safety and Fire
• To understand the consequences, legal and financial, of failing to manage fire
• Identify and understand the process, sequence and purpose of investigation
• Understand the reporting procedure

This programme is ideal for anyone who is responsible for fire safety or for conducting a fire risk assessment.
Candidates will be required to pass a practical examination and 2 written examinations in order to achieve this qualification.

FC1 - FIRE SAFETY AND RISK MANAGEMENT (4 days)

• Principles of Fire and Explosion
• Causes and Prevention of Fire
• Fire Protection in Buildings
• Safety of people in the event of fire
• Fire Risk Assessment
FC2 - FIRE SAFETY PRACTICAL APPLICATION
