Course Objectives - Manual Handling
By the end of the session candidates will be able to:
• Explain what is meant by the term “Manual Handing”
• Give examples of Manual Handling Injuries
• State principles of controlling Manual Handling
• Demonstrate an understanding of Manual Handling, Risk Assessment and Control Measures

Course Content
There will be a multiple choice question paper at the end of the session. On successful completion of the test, candidates will
receive a CIEH certificate of achievement.
